More on our Recently Completed and Upcoming Events (2023)

1/ The very popular Kinsmen Easter Egg Hunt was held on Saturday, April 8th, at 10:00 AM, under ideal weather conditions.

2/ Hwy 55 roadside cleanup was completed on June 24 and October 21, 2023.  

3/ The 2023  Show & Shine Car Show proved to be a very successful and well-attended event on Sunday, August 13th.  Despite our extensive planning, hard work, years of experience, and numerous volunteers (both before, during and following the event), most of the outstanding results must go to factors beyond our control - the perfect weather conditions enjoyed by all that day!  

Show-car vehicle entry fees remained at $10 (over 500 registered), with walk-in spectators set at $5 for those under 12 years -  11 and younger free.  Onsite Parks Canada parking was also made available for spectators.   Activities included food & beer/wine tent, a 50/50 draw, Car Show T-shirts, Exhibitor Plaques, and free draws for local NOTL fresh peaches. 

With this being our major annual fundraiser, profits generated will go to support our upcoming year's National and local projects (most notably, Cystic Fibrosis Canada -  https://www.cysticfibrosis.ca ).

Next year's event is scheduled for Sunday, August 11th, 2024 (always planned for the 2nd Sunday of August).

4/ The 2023 NOTL Santa Clause Parade was completed on Saturday, December 9th, with Kinsmen members once again participating with a 'vintage car' themed float.
